Coalport cobalt vase with floral painting

This Coalport vase from the beginning of the 19th century is in the supremely elegant and, at the time, cutting edge, French empire style with its classical form and scrolling handles.

Hand painted in classic cobalt blue with reserves of beautifully painted flowers including roses and harebells. Coalport at this date were one of finest English factories and flower painting was an area at which they particularly excelled.

Condtion: Some wear to the gilding in a few places
