Demitasse coffee cups by Coalport from this period illustrate the wide range of shapes and designs the factory were producing. Always delicate and elegant the cups came in many colours, shapes and patterns, many featuring raised gilding and sometime jewelling.
 
this charming example in soft pink has a raised gold deign that echoes motifs of the early 18th century.
